What to Know About Panasonic TV Speakers

Panasonic's very own speakers are a welcome addition to any living room with a TV and/or Blu-ray player. With its slick design and glossy black finish, these units can liven up a TV setup into a mini movie theater with its high-quality stereo sound.

How do you pair Panasonic speakers with a TV?

The process may seem difficult, but it is quite simple if done right. There are a few different cables that they come with that are used to pair both the TV and the units. If there is another setup, such as a home theater system, it may be wise to use other cables to pair the speakers with the main system as well for maximum sound quality. Cables such as coaxial cables are colored orange and fit into a small slot with a bright color on the TV. Analog stereo audio cables are small red and white cables that are connected to the fitting slots that are the same color as the cables themselves. The left and the right channels must be connected separately.

What else can you use Panasonic speakers for?

Other than enhancing the quality of your TV-watching experience, Panasonic's product can be used for other entertainment purposes if hooked up to other systems, which include:

  • Listening to music
  • Controlling music
  • Acting as a supplemental piece to a PA system
How do the Panasonic speakers affect the sound quality?

Depending on the placement of them, the change in the quality of sound can be extremely noticeable. Other than the TV being louder, the clarity and the low end of the audio should improve tremendously. If placed correctly off axis and within 2 to 3 feet of the TV, the Panasonic product can create a stereo effect that makes for a better quality movie-watching experience.

What are the key features of this product?

In addition to improvement in sound quality, these units are compatible with many different systems, such as a TV, a DVD player, phones, and even tablets with their bluetooth capabilities. In order to increase the sound pressure, large magnets have been placed inside of the speakers, making the audio clearer and louder.

What is the best way to set up the speakers?

Many units require having stands bought separately from the products themselves. Before connecting the speakers to the entertainment system, it would be wise to place them on a supportive surface or a stand with adjustable height. Some stands have mountable surfaces to place the item on while others have openings that allow the user to slide the units onto the stand.
