Buying Guide for the Yashica SLR Film Camera
If you enjoy shooting pictures, then you should try using a vintage 35mm film camera. Consider the Yashica brand, which is known for SLR film camera devices. A Yashica can produce natural and realistic looking pictures that can make photography fun.
How do you use a vintage Yashica SLR Camera?- Load the film roll into your Yashica.
- To make it possible for you shoot in outdoor lighting, set your aperture to f4 and your shutter speed to 1/125th of a second on your camera.
- Make use of the whole roll in one event.
- Rewind the roll of pictures and unload the camera.
- Place your roll of pictures in an envelope and send it to a lab for development.
- Locate the Rewind knob on the left side of the camera and pull it up until the back part opens.
- Take the film roll and cut the leader into a take-up spool. The leader has to be 22mm for it to fit into the spool.
- Place the roll inside the left part of the camera. Rewind the knob to the point where it fits snugly on the spool once it is back on its socket.
- Take the leader of the roll and pull it over to the take-up spool, with the narrow end going in first into the slot. While the spool is held steady using one hand, push the roll into the spool or until it's seen coming out of the other side.
- Ensure that the teeth are properly placed on the sides of the roll. Rewind the knob to remove any slack.
- Tighten the film and close the back part of the camera.
- If it is loaded correctly, the rewind knob will turn each time the roll is cranked while taking pictures. If not, eliminate the slack by tightening it to the camera.
- Set your ISO film speed by lifting the ISO speed ring to your desired speed.
- Set the shutter speed, using the aperture ring.
- To set the timer, push the self-timer lever down until it stops. Push the shutter release to activate the time, and the photo will be taken after 10 seconds.
There are five ways to do this:
